
Ultimate Post-Thanksgiving Turkey Sandwich

š What you'll need (Makes 2 sandwiches):
- 4 slices sourdough bread
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise (or garlic aioli)
- 4ā6 oz roasted turkey breast (sliced, warm or cold)
- 4 slices cooked bacon (optional, but highly recommended)
- 2 slices sharp white cheddar or brie
- 1/2 cup arugula or baby spinach
- 4 tbsp Janetās Finest Cranberry JalapeƱo Compote
- Butter (for toasting bread, optional)
š³ Instructions:
- Toast the Bread
Lightly butter the sourdough slices and toast them in a skillet or sandwich press until golden and crisp on the outside but still soft inside. - Layer the Good Stuff - on the bottom slice:
- Spread 1 tbsp mayo
- Spread a thin layer of dressing (stuffing)
- Add a layer of turkey
- Top with cheddar or brie
- Lay on the bacon (if using)
- Spoon on 2 tbsp of Janetās Finest Cranberry JalapeƱo Compote
- Add a small handful of arugula or baby spinach
- Crown It
- Spread the top slice with a little more mayo or compote, and place it on top.
- Press & Warm (optional)
For a melty version, grill the whole sandwich panini-style or in a skillet with a weight on top until the cheese melts and everything melds together. - Serve
Slice in half and enjoy with chips, pickles, or a leftover side.
